hello all ,

I am trying to copy FTP file from ftp server to a PC . Below is how network architecture is

FTP SERVER ->>>>>>>>>connects to SW1 ----->>>connects to switch 2 with trunk port eth 1/24 ---->>> SW2 connect connects to PC on eth 1/2

I will see input or output error on SW2 eth 1/24 & eth 1/2 please advise

Can you check whether there is a speed and duplex mismatch between the switch ports.

What is the model of your switch?

If it's a 6500 chassis, post the output to the command "sh counters interface ".

If it's a Catalyst 2K, 3K switch post the output to the command "sh controll e ".
