Hi,

When you power on or restart a router that does not have a config.text  file in flash memory, the Router tries to get configuration files from a  TFTP server. If the configuration files are not found, the router automatically configures the service config global configuration  command, which causes the router to continue searching (in the  background) for the expected configuration files.

Please put your config in Flash.

In order to disable this feature, issue the no service config global command.

Router#config terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.

Router(config)#no service config

Router(config)#exit

Router#copy running-config startup-config

These error messages no longer appear at the next bootup of the router.

Regards

Please rate if it help.

It wont stop displaying this error, so I can't do anything but only just look at it.

it doesn't go to:

router>

So I can not enter any command.

I hope I dont have to get a new router!

Can you remove the flash card from router and insert into your laptop then move your config to flash card.

Regards

Insert it into my laptop? It dont think if that is possible! does it fit?  :-(  I might be wrong...

yes, if you have SD card slot in your lapi.

It will work.

Regards

yes i do have SD card slot in to my laptop, but i thought that the flash card is not an SD card but a DIMM card...

I can open this due to some regulations:can u remove flash card from router....?

If yes thn please insert into ur SD card slot on laptop.

then move ur config file from laptop to Flash card.

Regards

Ok I will try that in the afternoon as I am at work at the moment. The problem is that even if I do what you say,

I dont have the config saved in my computer. Is there anyway I can get a configuration for 2650XM from somewhere else?
