Upgraded to a higher IOS and same issue

1.  Plug the end-point device directly to the switch.

2.  If problem persist, change patch cables.

been there .. done that.. I think the 3350 is not capable of powering POE devices other then cisco CDP stuff... just like  the 3524.. I upgraded IOS..

I guess If one does not have cisco device I am SOL .. POS switch.

Try this command on the interface-level:  power inline delay shutdown 20 initial 30

same

Switch(config-if)#power inline delay shutdown  20  initial 30

Switch(config-if)#no shut

Switch(config-if)#

Hello,

Do you have a Cisco IP Phone or Wireless Access-point? Perhaps the ip phone/camera that you are plugging in is not compatible with the switch. Also, depending on the product, they have a compatibility list that you can check.

Bruno Silva.
