Hello everyone,

We have Catalyst c1000-24p-4x-l PoE+ switches. Its power budget is 185Watt. We have used this switch for IP camera.

Now our issue is that if we connect more than 12 cameras to this switch, then we can detect only 12 cameras. Not more than 12 cameras are detected.

Camera power requirement is 9W, its class 0 device.

Please guide for the same.

Regards,

Sagar Patel

Hello,

Please check the attached file. It's output of Show power inline.

Regards,

Patel Sagar

You don't have enough power to power up the device, it shows you got only 10.X remaining.

it shows clearly deny giving power since no power left, the consumption of the device all show 15.4 ?

Nothing much we can do you need to uplift the model to support more power.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hello,

Previously I tried power inline auto max 10000 at interface level but it did not work for me.

Then I tried power inline consumption 10000 at interface level and it worked.

I referred https://community.cisco.com/t5/networking-documents/how-to-configure-the-power-inline-consumption-feature-in-cisco/ta-p/3127869.

Any suggestion for this solution?

Sagar Patel
