I would like to know how many port channel can i canofigured in the switch 3750 X ? and if there is a limitation by IOS ?

Hi

You can have 48 Portchannel on the switch.

You can put 16 ports on a portchannel, but only 8 will be active on the same time.

Limitation is not by IOS but by IEEE standard.

I've been getting the following error after the 3rd port channel in a 3750:

Gi1/0/4 err-disabled

Is this what you were experiencing, if the answer is yes how did you fix it

What did the logs say?  What is the output to the command "sh interface status err"?

Most of the time, an interface of a port channel goes into error-disable if the configuration are NOT the same as the rest of the port-channel members.  For example, the channel members may have VLAN 3,4,5 as allowed VLAN but you have an interface with only 3,4.
