Hello,
I configured a link trunk between a 9200 and a 9500 with SFP+ (SFP-10GBase-LR)
but it does not work. the 9200 sees the 9500, the 9500 does not see the 9200 (with "show cdp neighbors"). On the 9500, 0 packets input...
When I test with an rj45 port, it works.
With the same 9500 I have no problem with 9200L...
Thanks for your help !

is the port come up, can you post show run interface x/x and show interface x/x (from both the sides)
what Mode of cable you using, how far distance between Cat 9200 and Cat 9500

Check ports on 9500 SFP connect with the supported 10G port..
The Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches family consists of fixed core and aggregation layer switches supporting redundant power supplies and modular fans. The Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series offers switch models with downlink ports of the following types:
8 ports of 400G QSFP-DD
16, 28 and 32 ports of 100G QSFP28
12, 24 and 32 ports of 40G QSFP
24 and 48 ports of 25G SFP28
16, 24, 40 and 48 ports of 10G SFP/SFP28
Below is the both switch hardware installation guide..

1. for 9200 : Version 17.03.04 and for 9500 : Version 17.3.1r[FC2], RELEASE SOFTWARE (P)
2. ???? I do not understand the question (sorry, i'm french...)

Hello,
For all, I've already changed all Gbic, fiber, I put the two switch side by side with just a garter between them. I also tested with a DAC cable.
The strangest thing is that on the 9500 there is "0 paquets input"
08-10-2022 02:21 AM
Post the complete output to the command "sh version" from both switches.
There is an uptime bug that occurs with the 9500 where it would cause the SFP ports to randomly stop passing traffic.

for me the problem doesn't come from there, because I installed the two equipments side by side, I put a direct DAC cable and there is the same problem...
08-10-2022 06:54 AM
What is the exact model of the DAC cable and where is the DAC head-end installed, on the 9500?

Hello,
I just did some more testing and I still have the same problem.
the 9200 receives and sends packets, on the other hand the 9500 receives but does not send packets.
Thank you...

Can you post from both device interface config :
