What exact IOS version are you running?

(C3750-HBOOT-M) Version 12.2(25r)SEE4, its my version

(C3750-HBOOT-M) Version 12.2(25r)SEE4, its my version

This is the bootstrap version.  Post the complete output to the command "sh version".

This 'VMATM' process mainly takes care of the removing the
addresses learnt on an interface when the interface goes down.

The HRPC process apparently handles remote procedure calls on a 3750 stack

What is that you are seeing in the logs?

096754: Jan 14 06:18:02: %HLFM-6-ADDR_SYNC: The system is retrying to sync the MAC addresses: reason 2

I see this in the log

Maybe you're hitting this bug:

Did you ever find a fix for this? I've just hit exactly the same symptoms. High CPU with VMATM Callback at the top and "HLFM-6-ADDR_SYNC" messages in the log.

I'm running this c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SEE2 and probably long over due an upgrade.
