I just upgraded the switch code to 17.09.05 and the initial configuration dialog keeps popping up. This switch will be added to an existing stack so I don't want it to have a config. Is there any way to bypass this or do I just need to go through and then wipe the config?

Just say "no" to it and then get the switch ready to be added to the stack.

If I say "no" to it then it goes into the initial config. Regardless of how I answer it goes into initial config mode.

Can you make sure your config register value is 0x2102?

Didn't mean to accept that. When I say "no" it still goes into initial config dialog. It ignores my "no".

What type of switch is that? Can you boot to rommon and look at the config-register?

It is a C9300.

Thanks for the help Reza. The config register was not set on that switch. That switch was right out of the box so not sure why. The newer code is different and the command is not the same as the older code.
