Removal of Cisco Switch AAA configuration required restart or not

I have C9300 anr C 2960X series switches in my environment , i want to remove AAA configuration and login locally , i have removed and i can able to login locally , anyways i want to know do i need to restart the switch compulsory , or can i run the switch as it is.

 

SInce its a production environment , having limitation to restart.

 

Pls help me to find a solution

You do not need to reboot or reload the device for this config.

 

as per your message you removed and working properly, in case  not =-  my suggestion here :

 

1. Create a Local account.

2. Remove or change the Key Radius and test Local account work correctly

3. once this tested remove AAA config

 write the config and test again local Login.

No need to reload just commit the changes from running to startup and you should be good.
