Issues:
- unable to receive dhcp addresses across VLAN
- unable to ping between VLANs
Configuration: (see attached diagram)
Cisco 2610 is configured as as DHCP server to serve addresses to 2 VLANs:
VLAN 5 ? wireless
192.168.5.0 /24
VLAN 1 ? users
192.168.1.0 /24
I can?t find out why I can?t get DHCP from router. Trunking is setup between router / 3500 / 2950. Can ping sub-int?s from PC and server when assigning static IP address.
Can?t ping between vlan 1 and vlan 5.

Hi,
i noticed the router vlan configuration, in that the real ethernet interface has got the ip address assigned, what i would suggest is, remove the ip address on the ethernet interface & let the other configuration remains same for the sub-interface & then u can try. it workz.

In addition give the ip helper-address command under u r sub-interfaces which is the ip of u r DHCP server.
