In the Current Set up a BDCom switch cluster is running as a distribution switch and other BDCom access switches are uplinking to it. BDcom distribution switch is uplinking to a Cisco Core switch cluster.
Current BDCom distribution switches are going to replaced with C1000 switch cluster. BDCom switches are running in RSTP mode.C1000 switch is by default Rapid PVST+.
I want to know whether these two STP modes are compatible or do we need to do a change in STP modes ?

I do not see any issue, both are compatible and should work as expected.

Hello @nips,
If RSTP on ths BDcom is the Rapid Spanning Tree of the IEEE, then yes, it is able to fall back in STP mode and interact with Cisco's PVST. RSTP is backward compatible with STP.
