Set up port mirroring on 4500 switch

I'm trying to set up port mirroring on a 4500 switch VSS pair.

This diagram is how it's physically set up.  I put in

conf t
vlan 1234
remote-span
exit
no monitor session all
monitor session 1 source int te1/1/10 tx
monitor session 1 source int te1/1/10 rx
monitor session 1 filter vlan 77
monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 1234
end

Then on the 3048, I tried

conf t
vlan 1234
remote-span

The remote-span isn't recognized.  I can't connect my Wireshark workstation directly to the 4500 due to no free ports.  So I looked up the RSPAN articles to direct the port mirroring on te1/1/10 on the 4500 to the workstation.  But since RSPAN command isn't recognized on the 3048, not sure where to go from here.

Any help is appreciated.

Trying to understand the issue :

on 3048 the command not recognizing? ( you mean Nexus 3048) - then it is ERSPAN

can you post-show version from that device?

You have the only option of ERSPAN ( nexus 3K only support ERSPAN)
