Hi,

on my c2960s-24-TS-L switch I have configured aaa, ssh and a user with privilege 15. When I open a ssh connection to the switch and login as the privileged user, I am not in the enable mode. On my 2960G switches it still functioning.

Best regards,

Hubert

Do you have privilege level 15 configured on telnet lines as well?

Eugen

On all my switches I have transport input ssh on the lines.

It seems to be a bug in the c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-1.SE software. I just upgraded to 105-1.SE2 and now it works!! :-)

Best regards,

Hubert

I'm seeing this in routers with IOS 15.1M also.

Is there is a 'type 5' secrete, privilege level is ignored.

Using no password, regular password, or type 4 secrete makes it work.
