We have a pair of Cisco 9500's utilizing stackwise. We recently lost connectivity to one of the pair and when consoling into it I see it just says Switch# . I'm new to Stackwise, to reconfig do I just need to power cycle it and the active supervisor to resynch and let the active reconfig the standby?

The switch that lost connectivity is a member switch or the master? if member, can you logon to master and issue "sh switch"?
Also, can you explain what you mean when you say "We recently lost connectivity to one of the pair" Did you lose management access to the switch?

If they configured StackWise-Virtual and save config. if one lost power other one should automatically become active.
but if you lost connection like SVL and Dual Active, both should become active Active.
Console to both and observer show switch and see what status they are ?
post output of both : show switch
show stackwise-virtual
