Hi guys,
I have one stack that consists of WS-C2960X-48FPD-L switches running 15.2(7)E5.
What I noticed is that only one of the stack members has for some reason TenGigabit interfaces, although physically there are only 2. All the other stack members have only two TenGigabit interfaces, as it should be.
From the affected switch:
Te1/0/1 connected trunk full 10G SFP-10GBase-LRM
Te1/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te2/0/1 connected trunk full 10G SFP-10GBase-LRM
Te2/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te3/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te3/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te4/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te4/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te5/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te5/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te6/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te6/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te7/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te7/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te7/1/1 notconnect 1 full 1000 Internal
Te7/1/2 notconnect 1 full 1000 Internal
Te8/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te8/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Does anyone has a clue what are those?
Thanks,
Milos

as the unknown ports are also on a different module-number (../1/...)
It suggest this switch is a different model than the others
check with "show inventory" or "show switch" or "show module"
this is not a Cisco page, but it claims to have a WS-C2960X-48FPD-L with 4 SFP ports

Guys,
All the switches are EXACTLY the same, I have them in front of me, model WS-C2960X-48FPD-L with 2x10G uplinks.
Member no7 apart from two physical 10G ports is for some reason showing additional 2x10G ports that are marked as "internal", if anyone payed attention to the output in my initial post:
Te7/0/1 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te7/0/2 disabled 1 full 10G Not Present
Te7/1/1 notconnect 1 full 1000 Internal
Te7/1/2 notconnect 1 full 1000 Internal
Does anyone know what are does and why they are present/visible ?
Thanks in advance!

No we did not miss it,
You did not come back on the question did you check with "show inventory" ?
this may show a hardware difference!
there may have been some reason for Cisco to have swapped the mainboard for a different one
(availability, RMA , different production line etc) and these ports are not available external

Yes I checked.
NAME: "7", DESCR: "WS-C2960X-48FPD-L"
PID: WS-C2960X-48FPD-L , VID: V07
For the referece, number 6 is exactly like that (including VID)
NAME: "6", DESCR: "WS-C2960X-48FPD-L"
PID: WS-C2960X-48FPD-L , VID: V07
All the other are also PID: WS-C2960X-48FPD-L , just different VID.
