I will be upgrading a 6500 from SUP720B to a SUP 2T and will be upgrading all the legacy cards to the lastest. However there is currently a WS-X6724-SFP with a CFC. Will this work with the SUP 2T or will I need to add the DFC4, WS-F6K-DFC4-A= to the card?

Hello KWillacey,
according to SUP2T datasheet
at line card compatibility info:
• WS-X6724-SFP with CFC
OR
With a DFC4 or DFC4XL upgrade (WS-F6k-DFC4-A, WS-F6k-DFC4-AXL)
• WS-X6724-SFP
in the first case you have centralized forwarding, in the second distributed forwarding however the card with CFC should be supported
Hope to help
Giuseppe
