Hi all,
I'm trying to verify if the Ethernet IBM adapter PCIe2 2-port 10 GbE BaseT RJ45 adapter is a PCI Express (PCIe) generation 2, x8 adapter. (details located at IBM site as FCEN0W IBM Ethernet Adapter https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/power9?topic=ad-pcie2-2-port-10-gbe-baset-rj45-adapter-fc-el3z-fc-el55-fc-en0w-fc-en0x-ccin-2cc4
) could be connected with a copper 10 Gbit cabling to a Cisco Nexus 2348TQ Fabric Extender ( 48 10 Gbit Ethernet ports Rj45 ).
The answer should be positive looking at the characteristics of both extender and adapter, but I do not find a certification matrix where to guarantee this, also because I see this is properly an Extender appliance.
Could you suggest or advise me about this?
Thank you very much
Rita

I do not see any issue as long as they are in same standard full 10GB connection.
