QUick question, I have a pair of cores and in each core I have an SVI for a vlan created in an active standby fashion. I turned up the SVI interface that is going to be my primary SVI interface (setting a preferred priority to it's HSRP config). I forgot to turn up the SVI for that vlan in the other switch though, but it will be the back up anyway. If I no shut that SVI interface, will it cause STP to reconverge even though the one already up will remain the preferred SVI?

Bringing up an SVI (or shutting it down for that matter) has absolutely no effect on STP.
