Hello Seniors,
There are 2 C9300 - 24 Switches running in Stack. So both the switches are running on same IOS (16.12.04) , I want to degrade IOS to 16.09.03. So I want to confirm th
Step1 : install remove inactive
Step 2 : copy tftp: flash:
Step 3 : install add file flash:cat9k_iosxe.16.06.01.SPA.bin activate commit
Step 4 : reload..
I want to confirm that will this degrading procedure will degrade for the switches.... If no, can any one tell me the procedure to Degrade Switch Stack??

C9300-24P - sure as suggested, if the model support downgrade you good to go, please do read the release notes, if this live, do this in maintenance window.
Other notes : make sure you take the config out of the box to be safe.
My suggested 16.9.6 or 16.9.7 is good.

Not sure what is the correct model of the switch :
For some new Models, you can not go back to the version that comes with 16.12.X (if you do it breaks).
Look at the downgrade procedure in release notes : (understand the risk before doing it).

Double check the 16.9.X Release Notes if the switches are supported. If the switch is supported then it is OK to downgrade.
Just to note, 16.9.3 is an old release and there are newer releases to 16.9.X.
