If you look at the Datasheet :

WS-C3650-24TS-S

Standalone with Optional Stacking 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet and 4x1G Uplink ports

depends on end device capability it will auto negotiate, depends on configuration.

Copper ports are only 10/100Mbps.
The SFP ports are 1 Gbps only.

Hello Leo,

Thank you for your reply!

So on the WS-C3650-24TS GigabitEthernet1/0/1 to 24 are only capable of 100Mb but the additional GigabitEthernet1/1/1 to 1/1/4 are capable of 1000Mb but will need SFP?

What is confusing is that one of my trunk links to my other switch is saying that it is running full duplex 1000mb? how is this possible?

SFP optical ports are ALWAYS full duplex.

This port is not SFP Optical port?.... it is standard RJ45

If you look at the Datasheet :

WS-C3650-24TS-S

Standalone with Optional Stacking 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet and 4x1G Uplink ports

Ooooo ... I thought the OP did a type-o (and he meant "3560" instead of "3650").
Me bad.

Yes. (BTW, note Leo's last reply where he thought you were asking about a 3560 whose copper ports are only 10/100.)
