Hi, i have core switch 6509.I need to trace this server A is connected to which port in the Core Switch.I found out that this is the correct way
But in core switch,there is no sh ip arp command,show mac-add add , and very limited command (Enable Mode Command)
Please advise me.

Yes - you are running CATOS.
The equivalent commands are
#show arp
#show cam dynamic

Is your core switch running CATOS?
Post a "show version" and we can check.

If you ping the address and then do a "show arp" it will show you which port / VLAN it is in.
