Unable to upgrade Catalyst 9200

[JAISONTHOMAS]

Folks, I was trying to upgrade one of our catalyst 9200 switches to 17.09.06a through DNAC and it failed because of flash space. Error below,
Switch 1 FAILED: /flash requires 1077997 KB of free space, but only 777148 KB is available FAILED: install_add /mnt/sd3/user/cat9k_lite_iosxe_npe.17.09.06a.SPA.bin Thu Apr 03 23:38:44 BST 2025)

I tried install remove inactive and it didn't remove any files. And the command request platform software package clean isn't working on this switch,

Looks like you already have latest code 17.12, how come you looking to downgrade(upgrade ) to  17.9.6a ?

check on switch, show version (see what version of code running)

some new device shipped with Latest code you can not downgrade to lower version.

Sorry I used the wrong word. was trying to downgrade. There was a request to downgrade it to a lower version, and completed the same on a few other switches successfully. But failing on this switch because of space issues
