Using Flex Links after Catalyst 3850 Fuji Update

Hi,

we have updated a distribution stack of Catalyst 3850 Switches from IOS XE 3.x to IOS XE 16 Fuji. After the successful update we have realised, that Flex Link Support is not included in this Releases. Bad News, because we're searching for a Switch-based (not topology-based), fast convergence link redundancy solution on L2 for the two Core-Switch Uplinks.

So the question is, whether Cisco will bring back the Feature in later Releases. In this case we could recover the IOS XE 3.x Version and wait for the Feature release. Otherwise we are searching for a solution which is equivalent. Open for any ideas (with the exception of Spanning Tree).

Thanks and Regards,

Jochen

best regards,

If someone is searching for a solution with IOS-XE 16.X-Versions and FlexLinks. The Feature ist just not supported anymore. BTW: It's true. Cisco advise is to use Spanning Tree instead. ;-)
