Hi all,
I have applied STP to interface 1/34/1 and attemping to use 1/33 as the default path for traffic, it is still showing BLK... any suggestions.

Should the above be showing at Root on 1/33 ??

This is what I have also spotted. unsure how to resolve it though. Could it be that the although the interface is set to 10gb on both the 1/34/1 is using a 40gb sfp whilst the 1/33 is using a 10gb sfp?

Hello
The manual added stp cost applied on the interface would over ride any default calculated stp cost from the interface, As I have stated check the upstream switch on eth1/33 and see how the stp path is from there or if applicable shutdown eth1/34/1 on this switch and see the stp calculation thereafter, from what I see and interpret does suggest some physical failure hence why even eth1/34/1 has a less preferred stp cost path its still being preferred.
