VMPS not supported in Catalyst 9000?

I know VMPS is an old feature, but we still use it on many of our Cisco Switches.

We will try to migrate to 802.1x, but I still would like to know the official status of VMPS.

Now we got our first Catalyst 9200 and 9400 (IOS 16.9.4) Switches and I realized this feature is not available anymore.

I understand why CIsco did not include this in the new 9000-Series

But is there any official End-of-Support document?

Maybe there is an older or newer IOS release that still supports VMPS for the new Catalyst switches.

I did not find "VMPS" or "VQP" in the feature navigator.

Am I looking for the wrong feature name or is this feature officially not supported for a very long time?

I can't answer your question with yes or no, but found a post with this information:

A predecessor of MAB is Cisco’s VLAN Management Policy Server (VMPS). With VMPS, one of your switches was the VMPS server with a database of MAC addresses. The other switches would check with the VMPS server to see if a certain MAC address is permitted or not and to which VLAN it should belong

Check if MAB is an alternative to your current setup.
