Is there any way to check why is the port suspended? Config for interface same at both switches.
interface Ethernet2/XX
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 53, 56
channel-group 1 mode active

"sh logs" will tell you why.

adding to other post, you can view the logs for the reason it was suspended.
Another question is this working port-channel or newly configured one, if working one check the Physical cables.
if the new one : When a port in the etherchannel is in a suspended state means the port configuration is not compatible with others in the same etherchannel.
when you reply please give us more information, what is the this device model, what code version.
show config both the side switches, and some logs to guide better.
