Will the demand for network engineer die? as in future everything is going to be SDN !

Hello,
of course I don't have a crystal ball, but it seems to me that the demand for network engineers has been and will be steadily increasing. SDN to me seems just another (additional) skill a network engineer has to learn. No company can do without engineers, and as the infrastructure is critical, and (down)time is money, I don't see the profession die, ever...

Hi,
I am also a Network engineer. It is the demand of IT field to keep up to date with the latest technology. Of course SDN latest but I am not worried about next 5 years. If you are thinking that engineers die... No.. SDN will also handle by an Engineer but need some more skills.
"Update your self with the latest technology" a secret key of a successful person in IT field.
Regards,
Deepak Kumar
