C20/40/60/90 with 3rd Party Cameras

Hi,

I figured that if the codec comes naked it should support 3rd party Mics and Cameras tho

I could not find in any of the TC nor C series codec documentation the list of supported 3rd party cameras.

Are any 3rd party HDMI cameras Un/Officially supported besides the Cisco PHD?

Any feature degredation?

does any one has some experience with it, specifically the Polycom Eagle Eye?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Following cameras are supported with C series codec .

Sony HD1 and Sony HD7

This will use visca protocol for control .

For unsupported cameras issue will be with control part , video should work if you configure camera output to supported resolution by codec .
