Having problems with our TelePresence Intergrator C40. I wasn't present for the change, but another tech changed the IP, GW, etc and rebooted through the web interface. Once it rebooted it never came back up. Connecting to the codec serial port I get the following message:
Couldn't connect to TANDBERG software.
I've attached the full boot sequence. Any ideas of how I can get an OS uploaded or to fix this?
My hands are tied, not getting a response from the vendor, I took over this system which was put in place 3 months ago and I'm unable to get ahold of the people that coordinated the install. The S/N is registered to another support contract not covered under any of my contracts associated with my profile when trying to open a TAC and I'm getting alot of heat to get this thing fixed ASAP.
Thanks for any help!

Hi Paulo,
I sent one message to you with one suggestion.

Hi Paulo,
I just noticed in one of your messages above you mentioned that you ran the following command :
AMERICA> setenv americapkg s52000tc5_1_0.pkg
I believe the command you need to run is :
Setenv saturnpkg
In this case it should be :
AMERICA> Setenv saturnpkg s52000tc5_1_0.pkg
Can you please try the process again with this command and update?

Hi Mubashshir,
Yes, I also notice that previously and I correct that. The final result was the same.

Hi Paulo,
At this time we have exhausted all the troubleshooting. I would recommend you to open a TAC case with us for this issue and we can maybe take a webex session and perform the whole operation ourselves to make sure its working fine. We will make sure that this issue is taken care of in a timely manner.

Mubashshir Akhtar

Hi Paulo,
Before we go ahead with the TAC case, can you please try to perform one more step. I was researching on the issue and I think I have found out the problem.
Can you please download the package file for TC4.2.2 and then try to perform the operation again?
Here's the link of the download :
ftp://ftp.tandberg.com/pub/software/endpoints/tc/tc4/s52000tc4_2_2.pkg
Please try the steps again only the difference is to replace your current package file with this one. Also since the package file is changing, the commands in the SATURN prompt would also change to the new filename.
Please try these steps and update with the results.
Regards,
Mubashshir Akhtar

Hi,
Is your folder where you save all your files pkgfiles or pkgfile ?
04-12-2012 07:01 AM
Folder name pkgfiles (C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco TFTP Server\pkgfiles)
04-12-2012 07:37 AM
In your last error, you're pointing to pkgfile. Check your command and you can see .

I think the reason of this error can be - not correctly working Cisco TFTP server, because it dont show any Logs, any activity then try upload software.
Maybe I do something wrong.
I set for Cisco TFTP server root address (C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco TFTP Server\pkgfile). Maybe need make some more in this?

Hi,
I don't quite understand. Or if I have understand you wrongly. In your previous comment, you wrote :
"Folder name pkgfiles (C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco TFTP Server\pkgfiles)"
In your command, I still see this, the tftp_path is still pkgfile and not pkgfiles.
ORION> setenv serverip xxx.xxx.134.247
ORION> setenv tftp_path pkgfile
