Hi,

I Have C60 dual profile.

Problem i faced is when some from far end share the presentation then their screen comes on 1st screen of my device instead of the 2nd screen of the device.

When i share the screen it goes to the second screen.

Can anyone share if minor config change can resolve the problem.

Regards,

Raaj

Hi Raaj,

You can check the xConfig and xStatus output from the codec. There are two parameters which change the behavior of the monitors:

xConfiguration Video Monitors and xConfiguration Video Output HDMI [1]/DVI [2] MonitorRole

The HDMI monitor role describes what video stream will be shown on the monitor connected to the video output HDMI connector. Applicable only if the "Video > Monitors" configuration is set to dual.

Value space: (*c xConfiguration Video Output HDMI 1 MonitorRole: First)

First: Show main video stream.
Second: Show presentation video stream if active, or other participants.
PresentationOnly: Show presentation video stream if active, and nothing else.

Hi, I suppose you have to check if you are receiving the presentation as a main stream or as a second stream. If you are receiving it as a main stream, you will see it on the 1st(main) screen. Regards, Tang

Hi Teck,

how can I identify the presentation is coming as mainstream or not.

also if it's then how I can force to go to second screen.

Raaj

Hi Manish,

Thank you for your reply.

I have checked the config and i think i need to change the composite output to Auto, so by default it will select the Second screen which is for presentation.

*c xConfiguration Video Output Composite 3 MonitorRole: First
*c xConfiguration Video Output DVI 2 MonitorRole: Second
*c xConfiguration Video Output HDMI 1 MonitorRole: First
I have changed to
*c xConfiguration Video Output Composite 3 MonitorRole: Auto
*c xConfiguration Video Output DVI 2 MonitorRole: Auto
*c xConfiguration Video Output HDMI 1 MonitorRole: Auto
and in coming days will let you the result.

Hi Everyone,

Finally I'm able to resolve this issue and would like to share.

Based on old comment on endpoint the config should be like this for MonitorRole

xConfiguration Video Output HDMI 1 MonitorRole: First
xConfiguration Video Output DVI 2 MonitorRole: Second
xConfiguration Video Monitors: DualPresentationOnly
xConfiguration Video Output Composite 3 MonitorRole: Auto

This resolved the internal video calls to come on second screen, however still i was not able to get the Presentation on second screen for B2B calls via expressway.

For this, In EXP C Zone pointing toward CUCM, there is Zone profile in advanced paramter this should be CUCM 8.6.1 or later ( mine was just CUCM only)

Also the SIP Trunk , SIP Profile should have BFCP enabled ( this was enabled in my case)

After the doing the config change on EXP-C and reset of  the trunk it worked fine.

Raaj

I I have a c60. it not nomal start. Mainly the package files are only required however, in the case of C series codec, you would also require two files namely; pkgextract.elf & u-boot.ini. These files can be downloaded from the following link: https://supportforums.cisco.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/23161-1-123930/pkgfiles_uboot.rar.zip We can't find the page you're looking for. The page has either been moved or deleted. Try and Search for the page. pkgextract.elf & u-boot.ini. Please sent to me email: zgf926@163.com
