Hello Everybody.
We Have here Stand Alone SX20, and i configured it based on this discussion https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11606926/sx20-standalone, I Tried with firewall no work, then i connected it directly with isp router and open the following ports in ISP routers
port 1720, port 5555 - 5574, port 2326 - 2485, but still i receive the message the contact cant be reached when ever i tried to call.
Thanks in Advance

Some additional info based on the following posts:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11606926/sx20-standalone
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11675576/sx20-standalone-sip
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12688991/sx20-standalone-security
There are a few points to keep in mind when using SX20 as standalone:
>> H.323 mode is recommended for standalone mode
>> Following config should be in place
Configuration->Advance Configuration->H323->Profile 1->Callsetup Mode: Direct
Configuration->Advance Configuration->H323->Profile 1->PortAllocation : Static
If you have NAT on the router then you need to add NAT IP address on the following:
Configuration->Advance Configuration->H323->NAT->Address : YOUR_NAT_ADDRESS
Configuration->Advance Configuration->H323->NAT->Mode: Auto
>> Following ports should be open
Q.931 call Setup - 1720 - TCP
H.245(Static) - 5555-6555 - TCP
Video*/Audio*/Data/FECC - 2326-2485 - UDP
Since standalone deployment is really not the recommended one so there are no Cisco guides to set it up, however you can use the above mentioned information for optimizing it as a standalone endpoint.

Dear Manish
Thanks for the Reply, all the configuration is same but i open only, h.245(static) 5555 - 5574 and you mention 6555. is this would be the problem
and i configured it as h.323 not sip
no nat is required because i connect it directly to isp router for testing\
Thanks again, any other advise

Hi,
Please be informed that the recommended port range which should be opened for H.245(static) is 5555 - 6555.
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11606926/sx20-standalone
If the opened port range is not configured as recommended, then the call may or may not establish.
In your case, opened port range is 5555 - 5574 and call is not getting connected, so you can try opening the recommended port range and see if that resolves your issue.
Thanks,
Shefali

Hi,
In that case, you can provide the call flow (like what all Telepresence devices are involved in the system) and the packet captures from the endpoints.
For taking the capture, you can refer to this link:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/video/13077746/collecting-call-logs-and-network-traffic-tc-endpoints
Based on it, we may come to know the root cause of the issue.
Thanks,
Shefali

Do you have your default Call Protocol set to H323?
If you're dialling an address with a hostname, do you have the DNS settings correctly configured on the endpoint so it can resolve the hostname?
Is the address you're trying to dial correct? Can it be dialled from elsewhere? Is it also a H.323 address, or is it a SIP address?

Hello Everyone
This is the warning when i start diagnosis on SX20, any solution.

That warning is normal when you are using your endpoint in a standalone manner as it is. It registered to a gatekeeper if the rest is configured correctly, then you can just ignore that warning as you will be able to place calls in direct mode.

Hello Everybody.
After Changing alot still, same message, then my friend suggest open the sip ports on ISP side Routers, but i am thinking i am only using h323, and on other side where i want to call they are using sip, so what you think guys do i need to open SIP Ports on ISP End, and if it is yes then which ports i need to be open.
Thanks in Advance
