Hello,
I have CUCM 9.1 clusted with a SIP trunk to a VCS-C. When making calls, the calls show a caller-id of extenstion@ip address, for exampe 2500@172.16.1.5. I have a directory URI setup on the phone that is generating the call, but it's now showing the URI. Inbound SIP URI calls are working fine.
Thanks

Hello,
On the SIP trunk to VCS, under outbound calls, there should be a setting: Calling and Connected Party format, change it to Deliver URI only in connected party. Also, under the SIP profile assigned to the SIP trunk to VCS, there should be a setting Use Fully qualified domain in requests, check this checkbox. The SIP profile should also be assigned to the SIP device making calls.
HTH, if so please rate.

Did you create a directory URI under the extension?
