Hi

Could you provide more details about the call flow along with infrastructure devices involved.
What is the version on E20 ?

Dear

E20  s/w TE4.0.0.246968 & cisco call manager v8.6 . call flow Cisco E20 - CCM- MGCP gateway- E1 trunk -Ericsson PBX-

digital or analouge phone.

Hi Islam,

seems like your far end device ( digital and analouge) is not responding to the BYE message from E20. Do the CUCM responds to the BYE message from E20 ?

in this case call will be disconnected after sometime.

can you capture SIP logs for call to check ?

Hi

thank you for your help , but why this problem not happen with other Cisco IP phone when do calls for analouge and digital phones

. I need also please to tell me any troubleshoot way to capture the logs which you will need . and please tell me why the caller name does not appear , although other cisco ip phones  caller name appear ehen do calls for digital and analouge phones.

Thank you

Dear

Any ideas

thank you

hi Kamal,

1.       Take a ssh or telnet session of E20 using PUTTY.
2.       Make sure to enable all session output.
3.       Type the command: xconfig
4.
       Xstatus
5.
       Log output on
6.       Now make a call and recreate the issue.
7.       After some time, disconnect the call.

Thank you i will do this test and i will tell you the feeedback

Hi Ismal,

in addition to the process as suggested by Amit add this part after the xstat and xconf and log output on.

log ctx SipPacket debug 9

 Make a call and keep running until you have recreated the problem
Disconnect the call

log ctx SipPacket debug off

Log output off

This will give better call details
Let us know the results.

Thanks

if E20 is registered to CUCM, then run RTMT and collect logs from there and see the BYE message ever sent to E20
