We have upgraded 2 systems to Cisco Unified Video Advantage 2.0.1.1 (cdp 2.0.1.0).

They cannot initiate video calls between each other but have no problems with video calls to systems running the older version - VT advantage 1.0(2).

any ideas?

I am having the same issue. It's working perfectly fine between a CUVA v2 and a CUVA v2 but not between a CUVA v2 and an older version.

has anyone found the fix for this ?

Thanks !

hi, i'm having the exact same problem did you never get a resolution for this?

ta

There is definately a bug here, because I am having the same exact issue. I have looked through TAC case's, and have not been able to find anything.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I'm having the same issue also.

I found that the fix for this is to install the latest phone firmware. I found other messages relating to issues with older firmware and 7970's which fit my case. Firmware upgrade and restarting the PC running VT 2.0.2 fixed me right up. Hope this helps others.

I had this same problem, I was using 7970 ip phones with the vt-advantage, and I needed to put in a new updated phone load. I do not remember which phone load it was, but it was in the 8.0 series phones loads. Give that a try.

updating the 7970 phone load to 8.0.4 sr1, fixed it for me.
