Hello all,
We currently have our Webex Room Kit registered as a third party SIP device with a phone number through our VOIP provider. It can make outbound calls and accepts internal inbound calls but the call drops after 30 seconds. Network traffic sees the call and nothing is being blocked, seems like the device itself is dropping the call. We also need the ability to dial out to a Room Connector for video conferencing via SIP but it doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between a standard voice SIP call and a video call. Is this a limitation on the Webex Room Kits or is there something specific in the configuration that would allow this? We would like to deploy these in our conference rooms and remove any need for the tabletop conference phones.
Thank you,

The "Dropping after 30 seconds" issues sounds very much like a firewall issue. If you search on Google you will see many articles which will tell you the same.
Your inability to make a Video call would likely be more of an issue with how your service provider has your device registered, likely as a Voice over IP device, and not as a Video device. You should discuss this with them as the devices are certainly capable of making video calls.

Our provider has not been helpful with this. Our networking team is not seeing any issues from their end and see the device dropping the signal. Have you been successful with provisioning one to allow both video and voice? Perhaps there is just a setting in the configuration that we need to adjust?
