conferences with 3 or more participants on mse 8510

Hi all,

on bacbone confenrecing system, MSE 8510 is used and all conferences are being handled on this machine.

However I want to use this server on the conferences that have 3 or more participans.

is there any way to  keep conferences as 2 participants?

Hi Onur,

The Answer to your question is Yes.

Depending upton the ports which you procured on MSE8510. It can support multiple conferences with participants ranging from 1 to 80( depending upon licenses/ports).

Just make sure, you don't use the same conference alias or number.

And Also you can limit number of participants on each conferences.

Are you using TMS for scheduling?  If you are you can configure TMS to only utilize an MCU if the number of participants go over 2 for point-to-point calls.

Administrative Tools > Configuration > Conference Settings > External MCU Ussage in Routing
