Customizing branding for Ad Hoc meetings in CMS

cms v2.2.7

cucm 10.5.2su4

We currently have CMS configured as a Conference Bridge in CUCM and are using it for Ad Hoc conferencing, among many other things.

We are trying to figure out how to customize the branding, just for meetings that are escalated from CUCM.  For example, when we have two users sharing video in Jabber and add a third, it pulls in CMS resources, which is great!  The problem is that users hear, "Welcome to a Cisco Meeting" before audio/video is connected.  We'd like to remove this, but I can't find any documentation on how to change this branding just for ad hoc meetings.  Would appreciate any help you can provide!

Documentation does not mention that as a call flow affected by branding, at least not directly:

There are two types of call customization:

  • Messages heard and image seen when dialing into an IVR
  • Messages heard and images seen when dialing directly as a SIP (including Lync) call into a space on a Meeting Server

Assuming it uses the same file: welcome.wav you can change it for a silence, but might affect other call flows.
