EX 90 custom phone book

Is it possible to point the EX 90 to a custom phone book? The unit is using TC5.1.4 and it is natively register to CUCM 8.6. Customer has a several EX90 units across the network and they want a custom phone book just for the Video units, something like:

• Video Unit 1   ext  1234
• Video Unit 2   ext  2345
• Video Unit 3   ext  3456

You would need TMS to send custom phonebooks to your systems. You could possibly do it without TMS and edit the local phonebooks on each unit or edit the phonebook files on the systems - dir.prm or globdir.prm

This setting will be overwritten by provisioning of CUCM. It would be great if TMS can be used for phonebooks, if an endpoint is registered to CUCM. I hope this will be in a future release!

You can use following work arround .

configure phone book url .

xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 ID: "default"

*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 Type: CUCM

*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 URL: "https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8443/cucm-uds/users"

Now it get directory detail from cucm , then go to ex 90 and create favorites as required  in ex 90 .

I have tested with EX 90 TC 6.2 and
