I currently have an EX90 setup to take receive video and output it over the HDMI out connection (in addition to the internal monitor) - pretty much whatever is on the EX90 monitor is also spit out over HDMI. I now want to record the HDMI feed on my AJA deck, both audio and video.
The only option I see for HDMI audio is in CONFIGURATION > AUDIO > PreferredOutputConnector. This setting seems to follow the audio option on the Touch8, toggling between INTERNAL and HEADPHONE as I make the changes on the Touch8. However, I do not see an HDMI option on the Touch8. If I change the configuration of the codec to HDMI it remains on the last selected output device and my record deck never registers audio from the HDMI connection.
Has anyone successfully taken Rx video and audio and sent it out over the HDMI connection? If so, does the audio flow in parallel to either the headphone or internal speaker devices? There seems to be very little documentation on the HDMI audio options.
