Anybody know if there is an external ringer that can be interoped with a Cisco IP phone? We installed a VoIP system in a factory that is very loud and the Customer is in need of a louder ringer. Wanted to get some ideas from folks that might have ran into this in the past.

The consensus is to share the directory number with an FXS port which you can attach a night bell or strobe to.

I know this is an old post. However, its still live on here and searchable. We recently installed the Cisco IP Phone Loud Ringer
Made by CyberData. They also make an external SIP Tannoy system that registers direct to Call Manager. The AMP is driven by POE, then the POE source drives 2 Bull Horn Loud Speakers. The entire 3 x device system needs just one cat5e cable. Each Bull Horn is 40W's.
Thanks
Paul
