I have installed VTA 2.0 in a machine with IPC 2.0.
The VTA recognizes the camera but not the IPC.
What?s is the problem?
Do I need to do something?
Thanks

(1) Make sure that VTA is looking for CDP packets from IPC and not from an ethernet-attached hard phone (there is a graphic where you can connect the line from the camera to IPC or a hard phone)
(2) Make sure you do not have a firewall that could be gobbling up the packets.

Hi, Kenneth.
I found out a documentation saying that the minumal version to implement this is 4.1(3)SR1. My version was 4.1(3). I did the upgrade and the solution worked fine.
Thanks.

Hi,
try to confirm that Video Capability is enable in CallManager configuration for the IP Communicator.
I am using IP Communicator with VT Advantage, 2.0 without any problem.

I search this option in the CCM but not find it on the IPC only can view this option for IP Phones.
I have the CCM 4.0(2a)sr1a. This version support VT Advantage 2.0 with IPC???
Thanks,

Per VT Advantage 2.0 release notes at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps5662/prod_release_note09186a00806cbe7d.html , VT advantage 2.0 requires at least CallManager Version 4.1(3), Service Release 1 to work with Cisco IP Communicator.
