Hi,
Is there a direction for Jabber Telepresence Video (Movi) to support Iphone and also devices running on Android?
Right now the only supported devices where PC, MAC, and Ipad tablet.
Or is there a third party software (except from Polycom RealPresence) that could be installed on the these devices that could act as SIP device that can be registered on the VCS and can communicate to Jabber or SIP endpoints?
Thank you.

Hi Dharmmesh,
Thank you for the info.
In order to run Jabber on Android devices, we need a UC infra right?
In our case we have only VCS servers and TMSPE for Jabber provisioning and we can olny run Jabber on PC, MAC, Ipad tablet.
Thank you.

Last I heard was that JabberVideo for Android is supposed to arrive towards the end of 2013.
Having said that, 4.5 was supposed to be the last version of JabberVideo in its current form, (yet we're up to 4.6 and it looks like a 4.7 and 4.8 will be released as well) - and the two JabberVideo and Jabber products to be merged.
You might want to contact your Cisco rep and ask for NDA roadmap presentation.

Hi Jens,
Thank you for your response.
Do we have a beta version for Jabber video running on Android?
Thanks,

No, not for "public" testing at least, if any at all - don't know what the Cisco devs have hidden in their vaults though.
I'm only hoping it's still coming.
