Hello all,
I have a client that currently has two 4 port FXS cards, VPN Module, and a T1 and the client would like to add 4 more ports. I do not believe the router can support it, but want to be sure. Here is the show version and the slots al lthe cards are in:
Cisco 2801 (revision 6.0) with 240640K/21504K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID XXXXXXXXX
2 FastEthernet interfaces
1 Serial interface
1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module
8 Voice FXS interfaces
1 DSP, 8 Voice resources
DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.
191K bytes of NVRAM.
62720K bytes of ATA CompactFlash (Read/Write)
PVDM Slot 0: PVDM2-8
VIC Slot 0: VIC3-4FXS/DID
WIC/VIC/HWIC Slot 1: VIC3-4FXS/DID
WIC/VIC Slot 2: WIC-1DSU-T1-V2

Yes, anotther VIC card can be added, but you will also need to upgrade PVDM2, becase the 8-channels currently installed is totally used by the existing 8 FXS ports.
