I am running MSE 8510 version 4.3(2.18) build 6.18(2.18). The system allows me to have a scheduled meeting and an ad-hoc meeting running at the same time with the same numeric ID.
Scenerio:
1. 10:20am EST I schedule a meeting for 10:30am EST called "9876"
2. 10:24am EST I create an adhoc meeting "9876" by calling my mcu prefix along with "9876" dial 449876
3. 10:24am EST the adhoc meeting "9876" is active with my participant in it.
4. 10:30am EST the scheduled meeting "9876" becomes active
5. I now have 2 meetings running on the MCU "9876"(adhoc) and "9876" (scheduled)"
I thought the the system would not allow 2 active meeting with the same numeric ID running at the same time?

So I checked the routing, and created a conference with 9301. So I dialed in and created that meeting with 9301. The build of the conference was rejected, IE duplicate numeric ID, and it seem TMS tore down my ad hoc meeting, and created my scheduled meeting. My failover in TMS is "if conference start fails", but not sure the behavior should be to take down the meeting. However, I'm not able to have them both at the same time. Unless there is something different with your configuration than mine. Can you verify the failover in TMS not sending it to another MCU? The event log's in TMS may help.

Thanks Wayne. I'm assuming your booking on the webpage and not in TMS I reckon?
One of the snapshots shows 9876 Yet To Start, scheduled by a210693. Does this uer have full Admin Rights to the MCU etc? Or do they have a deviation of it? Just curious so I can try and mirror it as close as possible.

Interesting. If you click on the Ad Hoc Conference, it shows the participant who created the conference. If you click on the scheduled conference, does it show the same participant in the Ad Hoc meeting?

When you click themeeting andlok at the configuration tab it shows the owner is the same for both meetings. What is intersting is that when you are looking at all the confernces form the confernces page the adhoc meeting has the owner blank
