You can configure menu password by using following API command.

xCommand SystemUnit MenuPassword Set password:

When you are trying to access Administrator Settings on inTouch, you will be ask menu password (“Enter menu password”).

After you configured menu password, without entering correct menu password, you won’t able to access administrator setting menu from inTouch control.

That configuration is for only protect administrator settings menu but not restart option which is not part of administrator settings.

Unfortunately I’m not aware any command to hide this.

Hi , i have this problem with Mx300 and Sx80:

I go to codec by https and set     SettingsMenu Mode : LOCKED  and user are blocked to change settings and i see a padlock in settings menu of touch10, , but the codec is registered to CUCM and after reset or apply , when codec sincronize to CUCM this setting goes to Unlocked and user can change settings using the touchpad.

Can someone help?

Regards

If you install the latest UCM device pack it should be fixed. An option to lock the settings will appear in UCM and will no longer reset it.

Hi , thank you very much but I have already CUCM 10.5.2.17900-13 . What is the last device pack that I must install for that? Is that any bug regarding this issue or another reference forum with that , just to get more information , because I still have this issue but I have to be sure wich device pack or upgrade to move to.

Regards

Hi, i'm not sure what device pack started the support of "setting menu mode" feature in UCM but this is the device pack 10.5(2.17139) i have installed before installing the latest device pack 10.5(2.21167. I went through the release notes and couldn't find anything related to the new feature. - Good Luck
