I would like to know about multisite feature and comparison of codec c40,c60 and c90.
How many users (number of simultaneous communication) can be done on each of the above mentioned codecs. I want to know the number of simultaneous video calls supported by each codec.
This will help me in proposing the right codec.
Please reply.

There is no difference between any of these re multipoint capabilites; they can all do a maximum of 4 sites, which consists of three additional sites plus your own site.See the data sheets for further information:
C90
C60
C40:

Hi Wasim,
As Jens already mentioned that there is no difference and it is based upon the licenses available on the codec. The best way to check it on the codec is to run the following command:
xstatus SystemUnit
And this would give the output which would include these:
*s SystemUnit State System: Initialized
*s SystemUnit State MaxNumberOfCalls: 4
*s SystemUnit State MaxNumberOfActiveCalls: 4
*s SystemUnit State NumberOfActiveCalls: 0
*s SystemUnit State NumberOfSuspendedCalls: 0
*s SystemUnit State NumberOfInProgressCalls: 0
Hope this helps.

There are restrictions on the codecs about resolution in multisite calls.
C40
• Four-way SIP/H.323 MultiSite; resolution up to w576p30
C60
• Four way 720p30 High Definition SIP/H.323 MultiSite
C90
• Four way 1080p30 High Definition SIP/H.323 MultiSite

Same as what Marius has reply already but probably easier to understand with table format.
