Hi, i have seen an issue with SX10 occur randomly while adding Corporate Directory to SX10 endpoint from TMS.
The corporate folders can be found but the content is empty, no contacts are listed inside.
Infrastructure: TMS 14.3 + SX10 TC 7.1.4
I have also seen other customers experiencing the same issue with different TMS versions also using SX10.
How could i debug what is causing the issue?

Tom,
If the corporate directory only contains H323 entries, then this would be correct. The SX10 is a SIP only device and is not capable of reading H323 entries from TMS. You would need to have two entries for each device, one being SIP and the other being H323.
Thanks,
Justin

Yeh, the corporate directory does have sip entries as well, so its not that issue. Its a normal tms dynamic phonebook with both sip/h323 registered devices.

I am waiting to get hands on a SX10, then I could tell you more ;-)
It might be interesting to know how the "route phonebook entries" setting looks like.
And if setting it to "no" would change the behavior.
TMS14.4 / 14.5 release notes lists the SX10 as being added to be supported for management.
So before coming to a conclusion you should test with these versions.

We just experienced this problem.
We have an SX10 that was working fine on TC7.3.4 and the directory displayed fine.
We upgraded to CE8.1 and only the folder structure is on the endpoint - no units in the directory. The unit is registered to CM 10.5.2 and TMS 15.1.0 and we can make calls.
I did the requested xcommand and here is the result:
*r PhonebookSearchResult (status=OK):
*r PhonebookSearchResult ResultInfo Offset: 0
*r PhonebookSearchResult ResultInfo Limit: 50
*r PhonebookSearchResult ResultInfo TotalRows: 0
** end

Tom,
Ok, so when this issue occurs, I would SSH into the SX10 and issue this command and see what you get back. You should either get entries or an error message hopefully.
xcommand phonebook search phonebooktype: corporate searchstring: a
Thanks,
Justin
