As @Leonardo Santana mentioned, the Tandberg 1700 MXP wend end of sale in February 2012 (10 years ago!) and End of Support on 28 February 2017 (5 years ago!) - so it is an extremely old and outdated device.
You could try resetting the device back to factory settings (taking note of any option keys first so you can re-add them afterwards) to see if that helps things - but, if it's a hardware issue (and being a 10+ year old device that's quite likely) there's probably not a lot you can do easily to fix it.
A newer and supportable model would be the best recommendation.
