Hello guys,
I've a problem with the precision 12х cameras connected the Telepresence C60 codec.
They are connected to each other like cisco recommends in it's manuals (RJ-11- RJ45, Cisco Telepreence PrecisionHD Camera User Guide).
The first camera recieves power from COM port, the second and the third have their own power suply.
What is sad - is that I can't contrlol any of those cameras, they live their own life. I can't turn off the IrSensor at any of them,
when I try to move the 1st camera, the 2nd and the 3rd are move too.
Another problem - I can't control the cameras from WEB interface - Call Controll -> Camera Control, there is a web-joystick witch doesn't work.
Please, help me to resolve the issues.
p.s.:
Cameras - > IrSensor - off
SerialPort -> BaudRate - 38400
LoginRequired - > off
Mode - > on
SystemUnit - > Auto

Hi,
First check camera connetivity by commnad xstatus camera . You should get bot camera status as true .
*s Camera 1 Connected: True
*s Camera 1 HardwareID: "50000003"
*s Camera 1 Manufacturer: "Cisco"
*s Camera 1 Model: "PrecisionHD 1080p 12X"
*s Camera 1 SoftwareID: "S01718-4.0FINAL [ID:40083] 2012-12-10"
*s Camera 1 SerialNumber: "B1AB05D00072"
*s Camera 1 IpAddress: ""
*s Camera 1 MacAddress: ""
*s Camera 1 Position Pan: 400
*s Camera 1 Position Tilt: 60
*s Camera 1 Position Zoom: 0
*s Camera 1 Position Focus: 4577
*s Camera 1 Capabilities Options: "ptzf"
*s Camera 1 Flip: "Off"
*s Camera 2 Connected: True
*s Camera 2 HardwareID: "50000001"
*s Camera 2 Manufacturer: "Cisco"
*s Camera 2 Model: "PrecisionHD 1080p 12X"
*s Camera 2 SoftwareID: "S01718-4.0FINAL [ID:40083] 2012-12-10"
*s Camera 2 SerialNumber: "B1AB08B00071"
*s Camera 2 IpAddress: ""
*s Camera 2 MacAddress: ""
*s Camera 2 Position Pan: 400
*s Camera 2 Position Tilt: 60
*s Camera 2 Position Zoom: 0
*s Camera 2 Position Focus: 4576
*s Camera 2 Capabilities Options: "ptzf"
*s Camera 2 Flip: "Off"
If camera status is false then it is moving using it's internal IR which is maytching your problem .
Check cables connected for this setup.
HTH
Kind regards,
Dharmmesh

Hi
Unfortunately, I don't have a physical access to the codec(now it is in another city), now I have only web access.
Thanks for answer, I'll try to do it in next month(

Hi Vladimir
Also you need correctly setup camera-ID and and associate with right video source.
If the camera ID‟s are the same for 2 or more cameras then all would be controlled at the same time ...

Hi Oleksandr
Thanks for answer.
It seems like all is good. The cameras have this own Id and they don't overlap each other.

Hi there! I'm having the same issue now, regarding the 2nd camera moving together.
Were you able to fix it? how did you do?

ksilvaol,
The codec is not detecting your cameras. I would verify the cabling. If you SSH into the codec and issue xstatus camera, I bet it will show no cameras connected.
You can also check with the remote control, go to system information, should be a cameras section at the bottom left.
Finally, you can also see them in the web GUI. Click on Configuration and then select peripherals.
Thanks,
Justin
