I'm installing TMSPE 1.4.1.2 for TMS 14.6.2 and experiencing error during installation.
I have installed the TMS on MS Server 2012 R2 without any issue. Also activated TMSPE license on TMS prior to installation of TMSPE.
SQL service is running on the local server.
Is this related to Java version? What I need to check?
Thanks in advance.

As Raaj mentions, TMSPE 1.4 is only compatible with Java 7, Update 51. Uninstall Java 8 and install the recommended Java 7 version. Only TMSPE 1.6 is compatible with Java 8, specifically Update 66.

Hi,
Please follow the below link
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tmspe/install_guide/Cisco-TMSPE-with-Cisco-Unified-CM-Deployment-Guide-1-4.pdf
Here you need to make sure the prerequisites are fulfilled, you need to enable the below services.
TCP/IP or Named Pipes protocol must be enabled.
TCP/IP is the preferred protocol, see below.
SQL Server Browser must be running and able to listen to UDP port 1434.
I have attached the screenshot for your reference.

Raaj

Hi Rajkumar,
Thanks for your response. I already enabled the client protocols on the SQL Server Configuration Manager but didn't resolve the issue.
I will try the Java version 7 update 51.

Hi,
Recently I too faced some issue similar issue i don't remember exact issue.
My Java version was in compliance and enabling protocol it worked fine.
Document says "Cisco TMSPE has been tested with Java 7, update 51, 32-bit and 64-bit versions."
What is your current Java version.

TMSPE v1.5 also requires Java v7. Upgrade/install fails with Java v8.

TMSPE 1.6 is the only version that supports Java 8, in order to not run into issues you must be using the Java version that is mentioned in the TMSPE Deployment Guides.using any version newer will result in errors with installation and using TMSPE.
